The parade down the Mall, London for the 1,500 cyclists participating in the Help for Heroes Hero Ride, including the 300 who took part in the six day Big Battlefields Bike Ride from Paris to London, in front of Buckingham Palace, to end at Horseguards Parade. The bike ride raised over £1 million for the war wounded and other donations, prompted in part by the killing of drummer Lee Rigby, amounted to a further £1 million.
