Cyclists in fancy dress passing Agincourt knights on the third day of the Help for Heroes Big Battlefields Bike Ride from Paris to London. This day commenced at Amiens and ended at Le Touquet in Picardie, France, a distance of approximately 90 miles. The ride went through Azincourt and hence across the battlefield of Agincourt, the site of the important English victory under King Henry V, against France under Charles VI, in 1415. Lunch was taken at the Agincourt visitors centre. The final stop prior to destination was in the fortress town of Mntreuil-sur-Mer, once a sea port on the estuary of Canche, being the town where Haig chose to set up his GHQ (General Headquarters) in 1916.
