Wild white horses in the Camargue, in the départment of Gard, in the south of France. One of the oldest breeds in the world, descended from the ancient Solutré horse, these horses are known for their stamina, hardiness and agility, and are now used as the traditional mount of the gardians, the Camargue 'cowboys' who herd the black Camargue bulls used for bullfighting.
