Geoffrey Burnand reads the lesson at Les Invalides, Paris, accompanied by father Roger Dawson and Help for Heroes (H4H) co-founder Bryn Parry at the start of the charity Help for Heroes six day Big Battlefields Bike Ride from Paris to London. The bike ride was launched by the Duchess of Cornwall and, during the first day, following the start at Les Invalides, the cyclists passsed through Nery, and ended at Compiegne, with a wreath laying ceremony in the Forest of Compiegne where the First World War Armistice was signed.
