Cyclists on the second day of the Help for Heroes Big Battlefields Bike Ride from Paris to London, the second day having started at Compiegne, with a stop at a war cemetery near Vignemont, followed by lunch at the CWGC cemetery in Carnoy, to the north of the River Somme in Picardie, close to where the British and French lines met in the First World War. The next ten miles followed the British front line as it was on 1st July 1916, including a stop at the Lochnagar Mine Crater, before a wreath laying ceremony at the Thiepval war memorial designd by Edwin Lutyens.
