Stephen Lyman at Saint-Séverin2.jpg
Michel Audouin speaking to père Guillaume Normand before a Bach concert given by Stephen Lyman, american guitarist and musician, in the Chapelle de la Vierge at Eglise Saint-Séverin, rue des Prêtres-Saint-Séverin in the Latin Quarter of Paris. The first of many concerts planned by a new Association formed by Stephen Lyman, with the assistance of Robert Lipscomb, with Michel Audouin as president to bring music (particularly the music of Bach) to children and young adults suffering from Autism and other psychological difficulties, following Stephen Lyman's work for the hôpital de la Pitié Salpêtrière in Paris. The vision for these concerts is that they shall be informal, open free of charge to the public, generally for 20-30 people including six or seven young people with mental problems, commencing at Saint-Séverin, expanding in due course to several locations in central Paris, given by Stephen Lyman and other top quality musicians.
